Picking the perfect pumpkin

We decided to go to Didier Farms this year ... Gobberts is so much fun but WAY to crowded.  The girls were so excited to pick their own pumpkins this year.  We picked out one for each of us and then we let the girls go on some of the rides that were there.  They had a blast ... until the slide.  Mac loves those huge slides and she talked Lauren into going with her.  They hopped on and Mac put Lauren in front ... all we heard coming down was the sound of pure terror from Lo.  She didn't cry until they stopped.  Chris and I couldn't help but giggle a little.  We were happy she actully got on and came down, we thought we were going to have to hike up to the top and get her.
Welcome ... super excited to get our pumpkins!

Hot peppers!

Rose Arbor 2012

The annual Fremd Pep Assembly was on Friday, September 21.  The girls were there to help with the crowning of the Homecoming King & Queen again.  They were paired up with the Clement boys (another teacher at Fremd that lives near us ... her boys are the same age as my girls ... super cute match up for each girl).  Mackenzie and Jake escorted the Junior class attendents and Lauren and Josh escorted the Freshman class attendents.  Lauren and Josh had preschool that morning at Fremd and Mac and Jake had the day off from school.  My sitter (Leigh Carlson) brought all the kids over to Fremd that afternoon.  No nap for the little ones ... they were tired ... especially Lauren.  She didn't even make it out for the Rose Arbor ceremony.  The lights were off in the gym and that scared her a little too.  Mackenzie and Jake were total rock stars!!!

Mac and Jake are in the same "all-day" Kindergarten class.  It was teacher institute that day, so they were excited to come back to Fremd to participate.

Lauren is starting to get worn down from all the hype back stage

Thankfully Leigh was there to comfort her.  It was easier for me to help the older kids get ready and line up.
