Loads of curlers ... NO curls!

Mackenzie asked if I would "DO" her hair one night after her bath.  I laughed and said, "Do what?"  She responded with curl her hair like I do to mine ... right?  I do nothing to my hair, but thought why not.  So, after 20 minutes of putting every single roller in her hair ... she sat for about 15 minutes and said "Ok, time to take them out."  Needless to say - there were no curls in her hair and this will be the last time she has this done by mom.

After a week of sitting on my lap, then a week with Mackenzie helping her, then a week of the teacher helping her . . . I am proud to say that Lauren has finally jumped feet first in to the dance class on her own two feet with no one helping her.  I think she was a bit intimidated by all the parents that sit in the dance room and watch.  What happened to the days of dropping off kids and letting them have "time away from the family" for learning and fun???  The other families (that means everyone in the family minus the dogs/cats) are attending and oohing and ahhing and laughing.  Geez!

Mac Rocks JBJ

Summer 2010 I went to the Bon Jovi/Kid Rock concert.  Mackenzie had a complete melt-down when I left because she couldn't go with.  I bought her this shirt and she now wears it as pajamas.  She rocked it out the other night for a great photo opp.
